Since its foundation in 1912, the company has been supplying individual energy and data transmission systems for a wide range of applications worldwide. The focus is on crane technology, intralogistics, port technology, automotive, people movers and amusement rides. 

Among other things, the company is known for the development of the first copper conductor rail by Paul Vahle in 1912.
